Israel is a Death Cult. If humanity goes down that road, celebrating killing and destruction, it will vanish and righly so.

It is a supremacist death cult.

Excellent and informative post Roslyn. Agree it’s a death cult but it’s funded enthusiastically as we all know by the US, and there is zero evidence that that will stop. I am in total despair.

All we can do is continue to raise our voices against this terrorism by Israel. Something is going on and it may well be sheer incompetence and corruption which keeps Israel on its path of atrocities. All I do know is that words and voices count.

I’m going to get this book. And yes, I agree: Israel is a death cult. Israel and the United States have opened a door that should not have been opened. And they are smiling and beckoning, whispering and cajoling, and ultimately pressuring the European and other white colonial powers to walk through that doorway and down a path that no nation state should contemplate doing. It will be the end of humanity.

The door is not and never was open purely to European or what some call white colonial powers. All peoples have colonised. In fact another people who need to be free are the West Papuans, colonised by Indonesians. Admittedly with the help of the Americans decades ago and the cowardice of the Australians, but so was East Timor and that was freed. And Tibet is colonised by the Chinese, although they have given them citizenship.

Tibet. The one place left in the world where there was still magic and mystery. There are very few Tibetans left now. The Chinese have made certain of that.

I am sure there are many Tibetans, they are just Chinese citizens and not called Tibetans. Yes, a fascinating place. But always with links to China. Not so with Palestine and its colonial rulers.

I watch the relaxing and lovely YouTube vlogging channel Little Chinese Everywhere (aka Unseen China). Her 4-month-old episodes were about Tibet e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trwFy7Ct2bA. Here's one on a Christian church there - https://youtu.be/PD9ulhnfK_w. Her latest episode, coincidentally, is in Qinghai Province where Buddhism meets Islam, and shows amazingly patient art and a breathtaking solar power plant.

Israel is not a "nation"... Stop confusing people...

I agree Israel is not a nation. I do not believe I said it was and did not see it in the article. Israel is a State which sits in Palestine, the country and nation of Palestine.

Israel cannot be a nation because it claims to be a nation for all Jews, which is of course impossible, so there is no Israeli nation, just a deranged claim for a religious nation for followers of Judaism.

From what I've learned so far, Judaism also is not a religion... It's a racist and genocidal ideology, having it's roots in Plato...

A religion has a faith directed at a God, which is why some say Buddhism is not a religion. Judaism certainly is. Most religions were invented in ancient times and all have racist, genocidal and misogynistic ideology. Read what Buddhists have said about women in the past.

Racism is not part of any religion. It's racism... If you believe you are better then other people because of what you believe, then we have serious problem... That is not a "religion"... That's racism...

It is racism by our standards. In ancient times it was called protection and preservation of the group. Many primitive peoples believed they were the first or only humans. Judaism turned it into a religion.

You have to see these things within the context of the times and it is not right to retrofit modern values to the past.

When these religions were invented in ancient, tribal times, people really did believe that members of other tribes were inferior and most religions believed that non-followers offended their God and either had to convert or to die. i am not saying that is right, but it has to be understood in the times, thousands of years ago, when people lived different lives and believed different things.

Tribes fought against each other, including Jews, regardless of their religion., They forced others to convert, including Jews and stole land, homes and possessions of those they called enemy.

Since mere mortals invented these religions they also invented a God who thought as they did, smite, smote, kill, destroy, rape, pillage. Dominate and conquer was the way of the world in ancient times and while it still is, not quite as frequently or violently, the Israelis aside and the Americans who help them commit crimes of Biblical proportions.

That sounds like genocidal ideology , not religion... I'm not very religious also but here is an example of religious thought: "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me"... Respect your neighbour as you respect yourself... That is the religion...
